If you are passionate about something, as I am about photography, you take the time to get it right. I have always been creative and found enjoyment in many artforms but with photography I feel at home, it’s my happy place and allows me the freedom to be myself.

It is my belief that a great portrait isn’t just taken, it’s created. I tailor every photographic session to the individual and that’s why I’m so proud of every portrait I take. I will seek out the alternative angle, that special look, a truthful expression or captivating smile. I have also studied photography and I am proud to have been awarded a Diploma with Distinction in Digital Photography. I am always looking for ways to broaden my skills so I can offer you a wealth of experience and professionalism.

My careful planning and attention to detail before the shoot means that you are feeling comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. My philosophy is centered around creating characterful, unique and elegant images by using a relaxed approach. I adore outdoor photography, nature and our urban surroundings inspire me I often try to include it in my pictures.

Away from the camera I’m a mother to 3 wonderful boys and wife to a very supportive and caring husband, they mean the world to me. I really do understand the importance of family and love, no matter how it is made up. I am a product of a strong single mum, 80s London and a scattered, culturally diverse and truly incredible family. Everyone chipped in to raise me, it wasn’t perfect but I have so many fond memories which I replay in my mind. I say this as I have very few pictures of my childhood which saddens me, I urge you to take snaps all the time, it’s a treasure that you can pass on generation to generation.

I love to laugh and be silly but I would describe myself as a bit shy, I don’t always have something to say and usually stand back and take in what’s going on around me, I pay attention to people and appreciate people for who they truly are. I think this actually benefits my photography as I see the bigger picture and recognize the little unnoticed moments. I have a holistic approach to photography, it’s my passion and not just a job.

I live in Tonbridge, but I have also worked and lived in the surrounding counties of Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and London, so I am happy to travel. In my spare time I enjoy cooking and exploring different flavors from around the world, watching romcoms, good wine, cuddles and being outdoors taking pictures of wildlife and our magnificent countryside. I am currently working on my street photography skills, which is nerve wracking but I enjoy the challenge.
